The design and architecture of Vayu puts the four natural elements of Earth, Fire, Water and Air at its core. By virtue of being located on the mouth of an expansive valley, it is always breezy and wind-swept. The living room, bedrooms & the attic have large glass windows which allow for plenty of sunlight to stream in through the day and make for the most astonishing moon-lit nights. The Villa has four elegantly appointed bedrooms named after the primary elements of nature.
The entire retreat sits over almost an acre of land and takes up less than one-tenth of the space leaving the remaining part of the land to a variety of native trees like oak, rhododendron, deodar, winter-cherry and innumerable fruiting trees such as apple, peach, apricot and walnut. As we believe in a farm-to-table concept, we also try and grow most of the organic, seasonal vegetables in the estate.
